We are thrilled to announce that The Mead Educational Trust (TMET) has been awarded the prestigious Sutton Trust Fair School Admissions Award at Gold level. This recognition highlights our unwavering commitment to ensuring fair access to education for all pupils, regardless of their socio-economic background.

Gold-level accreditation is awarded to schools and trusts that have implemented significant and meaningful changes to their admissions policies, fostering greater inclusivity and equity. TMET has been recognised for its multiple systems in place to support access for children eligible for Pupil Premium. Notably, our recent Pupil Premium priority addition to the oversubscription criteria across our schools has been a key factor in achieving this esteemed recognition.

This award is valid for the academic year 2024/2025, and we look forward to continuing our efforts to make high-quality education accessible to all. As we progress, we will work closely with the Sutton Trust to maintain and enhance our fair admissions policies, ensuring continued excellence and inclusivity in our schools.

We want to extend our gratitude to the Sutton Trust for this recognition and their commitment to social mobility in education. This achievement reflects the dedication of our entire TMET community in providing opportunities for every young person to thrive.
